Prof. Dr. Budi Haryanto, MSPH, MSc, FCR

Budi Haryanto is a Professor of Environmental Health at Faculty of Public Health Universitas Indonesia (UI) and Director of Research Center for Climate Change UI. He is a Committee Member for the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE) 2020-present, Fellow at Collegium Ramazzini 2020-present, and an Honorary Visiting Fellow of the Global Research Centre HEAL at the University of Canberra 2024-2025. He got degrees on environmental health and epidemiology from Universitas Indonesia and UC Los Angeles respectively. His publications focus on the field of environmental epidemiology, climate change, air pollution, and disaster health impacts. He was also actively involved on scientific climate talks at UNFCCC-IPCC’s COP 15 Copenhagen 2009, COP 21 Paris 2015, COP 22 Marrakech 2016, and East West Center Honolulu 2022. Most currently, he attended the WHO’s 2nd Global Conference on Air pollution and Health, March 2025 in Cartagena – Colombia, as an invited speaker.
