Lecturer and Researcher
Dr. Chorney graduated in 2022 for her doctoral degree in Advanced Material Science at Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University, Thailand after receiving an MSc degree in Chemical Engineering from SIIT in 2019. She graduated with a BSc in Chemistry from Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia in 2014.
The research field that Mrs. Chorney is interested in includes (1) Polylactide biodegradable polymer, (2) Chemical recycling of polylactide, (3) Shape-memory and Self-healing materials, (4) Electrospun nanofiber, (5) Superhydrophobic materials, (6) Oil/water separation filter, and (7) Environmental issues. She aims to help and solve environmental problems because it is the problem of the world. Thus, working and researching plastics and polymers can be a solution for reducing waste for a better environment.
