Dr.S.Rajamani is a United Nations Expert with specialization in occupational health, industrial wastewater treatment and hazardous waste management. He is an active member of Pacific Basin Consortium (PBC) from 1993 onwards, participated and presented papers in most of the international conferences in various countries including 2022 conference. He has published 120-research papers and many patents on the environmental health and hazardous waste treatment and management.

He is a Former Director of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR-CLRI), Government of India, served as a Professor & Board Member for Ph.D., program of Anna University. Examiner in many Universities for Ph.D., programs in the area of Environmental Protection, Occupational Health & Safety. He is the current Chairman of AIUE Commission covering China, Japan, India, Taiwan and European Union, UNIDO etc. He is a member in various National & International bodies on environment, global warming & Climatic Change and coordinated several International Conferences. He is the member of the Supreme Court Monitoring Committee on the Remediation of Mercury Pollution in Kodaikanal and Expert Committee Member in National River Action Plan. He has got many awards and credentials including Indo-Dutch Award for Environmental Protection for Ganga Action Plan, Technology Award for Pollution Control, Climate change, etc.
